BizTalk Server Enterprise Edition is the large-scale version of
Microsoft s software integration tool allowing you to stream-
line business processes- integrate internal applications and con-
nect securely with business partners over the Internet. In addition
to the features offered by BizTalk Server- BizTalk Server
Enterprise Edition offers the following features:

This is a per-processor server. Client Access Licenses are not
required when purchasing this server- however- you need to pur-
chase one of these for each CPU in the computer that it is being
installed on.
Microsoft Government Open License is a software-license program
designed to offer maximum flexibility- ease of use- and ease of
maintenance to small local governments. With Microsoft Government
Open License- local government entities may purchase as many
licenses as they need- for whichever Microsoft products they
prefer. In most cases- you have the choice of which version of
the software you wish to deploy- as well as when you wish to de-
ploy it. A Government Open License agreement requires a minimum
initial order of five licenses- after which you can order in any
quantity- using that agreement- for the next two years. Since the
Government Open License program is all-electronic- keeping track
of what products you or your customer is licensed to use has never
been easier!
The license portion of Microsoft Open License gives you the right
to use that software product- as well as any older versions of
the product- for as long as you choose to.
Software Assurance is a Microsoft Open License program that gives
you free upgrades to the corresponding product that it is pur-
chased for. Software Assurance can be purchased for all Microsoft
Open License products- many Microsoft OEM products and most re-
tail boxed Microsoft products.
